Catching got awarded in the “Baltic Herring” short film competition:
“The third prize in the professional category was awarded to Hannaleena Hauru’s film Catching. The jury described the film as interesting and amusing and the main character of the film irresistably charming and witty.”

Catching is screened 25th of June 2010 in “Cultures of Economics” at
Radialsystem V, Berlin. Film curator Florian Wüst has gathered a film programme examinining the economic reconstruction of post-war Europe, the industrial automation processes of the 20th century, as a part of the three-part event series by the Federal Cultural Foundation, in cooperation with the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
